Review/Complaints about TGS.net? Is it legit?
I am writing this at the request of the guys @ The Game Supply, (they gave me extra $ when I sold my account to do so).
I’ve used The Game Supply a few times over the last few years. I never worried about them being “legit” or not as I played with Chad in gentlemen’s club way back when and knew who he was and who the guys in the guild were so it was an easy one for me. I guess that some people don’t check the feedback on the site though so they wanted some bloggers to write them up some feedback on their transactions so here goes!
My first transaction with TGS.net was in around 2006 when I sold my first world of warcraft account. I was being deployed and wasn’t going to be able to play for at least 6 months so I contacted Chad and asked him to sell it for me. He put it up on the site on “consignment” for me and around a week later he notified me that it had sold and sent me the payment. I never had to do anything other than give them the account and they handled the rest. They made a listing on the site and advertised the account for sale and then it sold. Pretty easy really.
When I got back and was sitting around waiting to get redeployed or not I bought an account from them. Also an easy process, maybe easier for me since they knew me, but still an easy purchase. I checked out on site, they called me to say hi, I received log in information via email and was playing w/in 15 minutes.
I’ve bought 3 accounts since then and never had a problem with any of them. Knowing from experience that they are thorough when it comes to verifying that they are purchasing from the original owner and collecting the information for the account, (including CD keys) that they are the safest site to do business with:) Talk to them in chat and that’ll be all the assurance you need really, they are real people that know about the games they play and go out of their way to assist you.
